We were sitting down at dinner when my grandmother remarked: "Your kids give you joy to your life, don't they?"
I was stunned for a moment. "Excuse me?"
"Well, if you didn't have them, there wouldn't be much spark to it now would there?"
That cut deep, grandma.... that cut deep...
