An Awesome Failure

But then, if I weren't making any more new mistakes, then I'm not trying anything new. May I never be one of those whose lives can be summarized into exact snapshots but in different clothes ever again.

At least, I tried.














On another, totally unrelated note, I caught a baby lizard today. The whole class was in fear, but I stepped up and pinched up the poor fella. Then I walked over to the grass on the balcony and set him free.

Awareness

Being aware means having the chance to deal with things. The next question is whether or not you do.

I am aware of the toils and troubles I will face. I know this struggle. I've battled it before, and at that time I succumbed. I lost.

Will I allow history to repeat itself, or will I emerge being able to say to myself "I got through this."

If only writing to the Prime Minister would help...

Is milk so bloody expensive in this country?




I've been to places where milk is the price of water. No wonder they consume so much of it. They use it for hot chocolate, for coffee, tea, cooking, whatever they want!

No, in my country you must think twice before buying fresh milk. That's why everyone resorts to condensed milk. We all grow to love it, because that's what we're used to.

For the price of 1 litre of fresh milk, you can get three cans of condensed milk. Which is a lot considering you would use less condensed milk compared to fresh milk.

We have cows in this country! This does not make sense. Don't our cows produce milk? Why on earth does it cost so much?

I've been somewhere where I found milk to be less than a fifth of the price of milk in my country.



This is terrible!!!

Yes, I can say I've lived; and that I'm living.

A great loss..

Not for what you did, but more for the person that you were. The values you upheld, the life that you lived.



May I someday have just a drop of the good in you, then I will be that much of a better person.

More waters, and snakes!

The snake refused to stay in the fridge. I tried to close the door on it, but it was too strong.

I was holding a black bullfrog, who almost pooped on my hand. We got near to an aquarium, he happily hopped into the waters. He didn't see there was a snake inside. A huge one. The snake of course immediately attacked. A cat went in to save the frog. Both were losing. An old lady came in and attacked the snake. Finally he let go.

Procrastination

I know I haven't gotten to the two bounding barrels, and that other thing I can't quite recall.

Today I happened to suddenly bring up the wonderful Stroopwafels I had while I was there... it was marvellous.

Also, the cheese and mustard.



Ahhhh....those were the days...
