Thoughts of you.

They come at the weirder of times. Looking at salmon, choosing out cheese (in my case, it is limited to cheddar slices and the choice is boiled down to how many slices at what price.). I bought frozen corn, in remembrance of that corn-chicken-cheese concoction you made. The corn is safely tucked away in the freezer. I'll have a whack at it on Monday, perhaps.


My heart longs for those days. There was indeed magic. Perhaps it was from the bear of fire.

Giving chances

It is not just about you. Others need and deserve a chance as well. Generosity is not just in giving material objects, it is also in giving opportunities to others. To have that power to give opportunities to others is then a huge responsibility.

Time.

It feels like it's crawling now. Much has happened, but the pages don't seem to move. It was like this back then. Remind myself that it was like this back then.






I miss being there. I miss it so much. Shall I call it "home"?

Great expectations

The hard part is making it seem easy. Keeping up appearances. Why bother? To whom are these appearances being kept? None of this is easy. You knew that from the get go. You set out yourself for that. You hold your choices; stick to it, or walk away. There are those you look down on for sticking to a lost cause. Is this a lost cause? What are you fighting for? Are you weak for wanting to give up, or are you weak for not being able to walk away? What is so hard about all of it?




No, I did not bring you up out of fondness. More of a triumph. There are better days ahead. Stay motivated. If anyone can do this, it is you.

Exclusion

No, it doesn't feel nice. Be the bigger person. Maturity is defined by your actions in consideration of, but not prevailing, your feelings.


You are given tests because there is an unknown force that has faith in your strength. You are tested because you are strong enough to overcome it. Make sure you live up to your potential. Have faith in your own wings, and don't forget to use them well.

May you always remember that you determine what you are worth. Act responsibly, think wisely, decide fairly, and never let your hot head rule your sharp tongue. Your patience has far grown, keep it that way. Be that respectable person you could look up to. Appreciate the blessings that have been given to you, no matter how small. Enjoy your health, strength, and age. Stay strong, stay focused, and live wholeheartedly. Don't wait for a better tomorrow. Make today a good day, everyday. Remember that you are loved, and that you are capable of love. Show it.
